Full-Mouth Reconstruction Palos Verdes
Restoring your teeth and enhancing your smile using advanced technology
If you have not seen a dentist for a number of years, full-mouth reconstruction may be needed to restore your mouth to full beauty and health. Dr. Giri Palani in Rancho Palos Verdes has both the technology and the clinical expertise to recreate your smile.
Training you can trust
Dr. Palani is very well-trained and experienced in all aspects of reconstructive dentistry and knows the right combination of treatments that will work to reconstruct your smile back to proper form, function and aesthetics. And he knows how to do it all in the most expedient and minimally invasive way. This makes Dr. Palani a smart choice for people in need of reconstructive dental care.
Dr. Palani has completed a residency at Cedars Sinai Hospital in geriatric dentistry that extended to seniors who were medically compromised, which means he knows leading-edge techniques when it comes to performing full mouth reconstruction, including all types of denture and dental implant procedures. In fact, when it comes to implants, he has earned Fellowship awards from both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Creating a treatment plan precisely right for you
The first thing you’ll do is discuss your goals for your smile with Dr. Palani in a consultation. He’ll go over any concerns you have an answer all of your questions. Then he’ll take digital X-rays and perform a full oral examination, including a check of your bite for TMJ problems. TMJ can cause headaches, migraines, jaw pain and muscle pain. If Dr. Palani discovers you have TMJ during your exam he will treat that non-surgically before doing any smile reconstruction.
Full-Mouth Reconstruction procedures
Dr. Palani uses a variety of procedure to recreate a healthy mouth and great smile. These procedures can include gum disease treatment to save teeth; Dentures, Crowns, Bridges and Dental implants. He can even use implants to anchor dentures or bridges.
Dr. Palani, who is a fine artist and sculptor in his free time, has an eye for aesthetics and beauty and will make sure your dental work looks good and enhances your appearance.
Minimally invasive approach
Whatever procedures Dr. Palani believes are right for your situation, you can count on him to use a minimally invasive approach. You won’t get an implant, crowns, or other work unless you truly need them.
For example, Dr. Palani may decide that instead of shaving your teeth for a crown, he will use an inlay or onlay—restorations that go between or over the cusps of your tooth. And if you’re missing four teeth, rather than give you four implants, he can use just two implants with a four-tooth bridge.
Simply put, Dr. Palani’s main focus is on the overall health of his patients, smile aesthetics and longevity of the work that he does.Back to the top
